The Prince of Wales - Ham Hill
Address: Ham Hill Counrty Park www.princeofwaleshamhill.co.uk With some of the most breathtaking views of Somerset, the award winning Prince of Wales in Ham Hill Country Park is the perfect destination to relax and enjoy timeout from busy schedules. Steeped in History, the area is a haven for walkers, dog owners, couples and families to stroll and play among the hills, woods and surrounding fields. The Pub itself is very traditional in both character and spirit with flagstone flooring, stone walls and open fire. The main bar offers a wide range of drinks, including our ever changing choice of locally brewed real ales served straight from the cask. It’s a cosy and welcoming area, popular with locals, regulars, dog owners and families. Leading on from the bar there is a small ‘Snug’ with its own wood burning stove, which seats up to ten people, and is often requested for relaxed social and family gatherings. Further on is the Restaurant which offers a more intimate and formal setting, whilst retaining the rustic charm of the Pub. This leads on to the beautiful Chapel, with its vaulted beam ceiling, Hamstone walls and bar which is often utilised for large parties, functions and weddings, as well as group meetings and business conferences. Outside is just as inviting as inside, with extensive seating areas making the most of the views. There is also our hidden gem known as Amy’s Garden with its own bar and stage. During the spring and summer it plays host to live music and barbeque events, and is frequently booked for weddings and private parties as this garden easily accommodates a large marquee. The food is widely enjoyed and is made from scratch using our own unique, well balanced recipes and utilising ingredients sourced from local producers as well as other parts of the United Kingdom. The Menus change to reflect the produce availability within the area, and are created to appeal to everyone including Vegans and those with allergies. With our increasingly popular quiz night every 3rd Sunday evening of the month, £10 Indian Cuisine evening on Wednesdays, popular Sunday Roasts (Local Water Buffalo, Pork and Free Range Chicken), and extra special menu evenings like Valentines, Burns’, Christmas to name a few, the Prince of Wales is all you could want and more from a traditional Pub.
